Demos

This folder contains demo functions that showcase some of ND1s more impressive abilities.

The collection is going to grow, we're starting off with one pretty nifty animated Canvas demo:

scribble shows what can be done with the Canvas element and how easy it is to gain access to it. It draws random Bezier curves with a fade effect. The code is example code from http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/cu ... ement.html

Two more demos have been added:

LuxTable links to a very cool JavaScript iOS/canvas demo that uses pictures obtained from Flickr (daily 10 voted as most interesting) and multi-touch to permit gesture-based selection and transformations (rotate, scale, transpose).

Periodic is an external link to a page that does a nice rendition of the periodic table of elements. This last demo is copyrighted by Adobe and is part of their Spry code examples. The Spry JS framework is used in this demo. (Via external reference. It's not part of the JS frameworks redists that ship with ND1.)
The main point here is to show how easy it is to put useful information at your fingertips.

Two more demos have been added:

e_500 computes the Euler constant, e, to 500 digits, using the BigInteger data type built into ND1.

FibTri400 computes and displays a picture of the first 400 Fibonacci numbers, stacked atop each other right-aligned. A peculiar pattern of triangles can be seen. This demo, too, uses the BigInteger data type to compute the numbers.

Several demos have been added and all have been changed to display descriptive dialogs. Some demos received other changes.

Additions are:
graph draws two graphs
walk does a random walk
FibTri makes visible the first 400 Fibonacci numbers
AAPL displays a real-time stock quote
Email emails the stack

One more demo has been added:

solv shows how WolframAlpha™ can used for solving.
It is also used for integration, differentiation, and taylor. ND1 can be extended to use WolframAlpha™ for other CAS (Computer Algebra System) functions.

Updated to contain v1.4 demos:

entry
alg mode

CFs

The Apple real-time quote function was fixed. It recently broke through a Google Finance API change.
